Which garage do I use from Damascus to Aleppo?
Spanish passport, already in the old city. Maps show Harasta, Abbasiyeen, Qaboun, Pullman — I cannot tell which one actually sells a seat north.
I do not want a hired car for that road if a coach exists. Morning is fine. I just do not want to taxi to the wrong yard and watch the last van leave.
Pullman or the shared van? And how long is it really, with the checkpoints?

Ask the hotel which bay is running north today. You will not walk it from Bab Touma.
Two names still appear in 2026 Arabic reporting: Harasta (كراجات البولمان حرستا) — the coach north, including Aleppo — and al-Abbasiyeen (كراجات العباسيين), where shared vans still sell the same cities. Maps may also say Qaboun. Qaboun is the district. Both Harasta and Abbasiyeen can be true the same morning.
Pullman is the coach: buy at the company window inside, not from the first man who takes your bag. Servees leaves when the van is full. A garage seat has been a handful of dollars to about fifteen. Ask new or old before you pay. I will not quote this morning’s ticket.
About five hours plus checkpoints. Passport out, polite, no photographs of uniforms. Leave in the morning. In Aleppo the Pullman garage is at Ramouseh, then a taxi to the citadel. You do not need a tour for this motorway.

Hotel sent me to Harasta, not Abbasiyeen. Yellow taxi, agreed the fare before the door. Bought the Pullman seat at the window inside — someone in the yard tried to take the bag and name a price first. About five hours, two or three checkpoints, passport out, nothing dramatic. I did not film anything.
The board looked like a fortune until I asked new or old. New. Paid pounds. Arrived Ramouseh, taxi to the citadel. I would not start that after lunch. The van in Abbasiyeen exists; I just did not use it.
