- The January 2026 operator table listed St Thecla at 08:00–18:00, not this door. The same operator’s 2026 attractions sheet lumps both Maaloula chapels as daytime, with pauses at services. A tour listing prints Sun–Thu 10:00–17:00 — that is the agency desk, not this monastery. Confirm at the door.

- Usually free or a donation. The same 2026 operator sheet that prices museums does not number this door; it groups Maaloula chapels as free or donation. The January 2026 antiquities fee list, as that operator published it, does not include this monastery. Cash pounds if they ask. Confirm at the door.

- It is a church. Cover shoulders and knees. No mosque robe. Stairs from St Thecla. Ask before you photograph people at prayer. Do not treat the chapel as a set. You do not need a guide to dress or to climb.
