Hall
Chapel
The Krak chapel is the hall in the inner court of Krak des Chevaliers — the church inside the castle, not St George monastery on the road. Same cash ticket as the castle. If they wave you in, go. If it is a worksite, keep walking. You do not need a tour. Checked 13 September 2026.

- Hours
- Same hours as the castle — there is no chapel timetable. Hours still disagree in 2026: operator lists daily, about 09:00–18:00 in summer, 09:00–15:00 in winter. A visitor page had 09:00–17:00. Older lists had winter until 16:00. Unlike Aleppo Citadel, those lists do not mark Tuesday closed. Do not use St George’s Sunday close on this hall. Confirm at the door of the hall.
- Ticket
- Same cash ticket as the castle. There is no chapel-only fee. First-grade DGAM band from 1 January 2026. Operator sheets in January 2026 still named 100,000 pounds for this castle and mixed old figures. The site desk, in an Arabic note on 22 January 2026, named 100,000 pounds for foreigners. Ask new or old. Do not convert it to dollars. Pay at the castle gate, not at this door.
- Respect
- Cover up if they ask. It is still the castle walk, not a working parish like Maaloula. Shoes if they say so. Do not treat the hall as a set. Restoration is listed through 2026–2027; walk what they open. If the door is shut, keep walking.
