Cash pounds, often closed Tuesday — confirm at the door. Minutes south of the mosque, after the souq. Ottoman courtyard house, now the museum of popular tradition. Courtyards, ablaq stone, quiet after the lanes. Skip it if Tuesday. You do not need a tour. Khan As’ad Pasha is the caravanserai on the spice souq — a different ticket. Checked 13 September 2026.

- Hours still disagree in 2026: operator lists about 09:00–17:00 in summer, 09:00–15:00 in winter, often closed Tuesday. A visitor list has 09:00–18:00 and also marks Tuesday. Other pages 09:00–17:00 every day and do not mark Tuesday. One 2026 listing says Friday closed. Confirm at the door.

- Cash pounds. The January 2026 antiquities fee list, as that operator published it, names this palace first-grade with the National Museum. One 2026 operator sheet prints 100,000 and calls that a few dollars; they still mix old and new. Independent notes put museum tickets in the few-dollars range; other visitor pages say under US$10. An Arabic page from March 2025 still prints 20,000 for foreigners — that is not the 2026 desk. Ask new or old. Confirm at the door.

- Courtyards. Follow staff on photographs — one 2026 operator sheet forbids photos inside the rooms; other visitor pages say permitted. Modest indoors. Do not treat the house as a set. You do not need a tour.
